Unification strongly opposed
PA Dunedin The synod of the Dunedin Diocese yesterday voted overwhelmingly against unification with other Protestant Churches after Bishop P. W. Mann’s about-face on Monday on unification. The proposal of unification of the ministries of the Church of Christ, Congregational Union, Methodist, and Presbyterian was before the Synod. Nine clergy and 12 laity voted for unification, and 33 clergy and 33 laity against.
