Extra cash available
"Serious consideration” would be given by the Health Department to requests for extra funds to make up the requirements of community health projects, said the Hospital Board’s acting chief executive (Mr G. W. Davies) yesterday.
The board has 12 community health projects, some of which face a cut in funding because of a short-fall of about $98,000 in community health grants made to the board. Mr Davies told the board’s institutions committee that I the Health Department iwould be flexible on the matter.
