Family Bill praised
PA Wellington Reintroduction of the Family Proceedings Bill, together with the establishment of family courts, would substantially reduce the “social blight which was afflicting New Zealand society,” said Mr R. P. B. Crickett, vice-presi-
dent of the Family Law Reform Association. His association received constant cries for help from bewildered people who had no idea of their future after marriage breakdown. Mr Crickett called on the Minister of Justice (Mr Mclay) to introduce, debate, and enact the bill with minimum delay.
