Stuntman killed
A stunt motor-cyclist, Rtfbin Winter-Smith, was killed when his machine just failed to leap over a line of 32 Rolls-Royces at an air show at Elstree on London’s outskirts. His new 250 c.c, motor-cycle built up a speed of over 130 km/h but crashlanded on the ramp at the end of the 64m row-of cars. Winter-Smith, a 29-year-old Londoner, had told reporters beforehand that it was very dangerous but he preferred not to think about the risks involved. — London.
