Appeal for rest home
A public appeal to raise $BO,OOO to furnish the new SIM Resthaven Home for the elderly, in Colombo Street, will begin on Monday, July 16. The home, which has been built for the Salvation Armv, replaces an older building on the same site near Christchurch Women’s Hospital.
