Slow progress
PA Auckland The Taiwanese fishing vessel arrested on Tuesday for allegedly fishing without a licence in New Zealand’s 200mile economic zone is making slow progress to Auckland. She was not expected to arrive until noon tomorrow, said a Navy spokesman last evening. The vessel, a long-liner identified as the Ming Shang No. 7, is being escorted by H.M.N.Z.S. Rotoiti, which met a patrol craft, H.M.N.Z.S. Taranaki north of North Cape at 11.40 a.m. yesterday.
