Fall victim serious
A man who fell 12m from the roof of a partly-built church in Sydenham on Sunday was still unconscious in the intensive-care unit at the Christchurch Hospital last evening.
He is Norman Clark, aged 27, of Wildberry Street, Woolston who suffered severe head and back injuries in the fall. He was reported to be still in a serious condition.
Mr Clark was found lying in a car park next to the church about 4.30 p.m. on Sunday. Detectives at first believed that he might have been assaulted but later established- that there were no suspicious circumstances..
