Rondel’s odds longer in Australia
Australian betters did better than New Zealanders by backing Rondel in the Benson and Hedges InterDominion Championship grand final at Addington Raceway on Saturday. in New Zealand, Rondel paid $13.70 for a win. His dividend with the New South Wales T.A.B. was $24 20 The Victorian T.A.B. dividend for Rondel was $28.50 while in Queensland it was $20.80. In South Australia his dividend was $15.80, in Western Australia $16.50, in Tasmania $2O. and in the Australian Capital Territory $20.70. Sapling's place dividend varied between $l4O in Victoria to $5.70 in Queensland. Palestine paid $13.85 on the New Zealand totalisator in his consolation race while his best price in Australia was $48.60 in Tasmania. He paid $46 in Western Australia. His lowest dividend was $l7 in New South Wales.
