Bigger lead to Liverpool
NZPA-Reuter London Unbeaten Liverpool continued to move ahead of the pack in the English football first division by beating Chelsea, 2-0, at home on Saturday. Its win was its tenth in 11 league matches this season and it is now four points ahead of Everton, which was held to a 1-1 draw in London by Queen’s Park Hangers. Nottingham Forest remained in third place with a narrow 1-0 win at home over Ipswich.
