Boy injured by truck
A young Burnside boy suffered severe leg injuries when he was knocked down by a concretemixing truck yesterday afternoon.
Peter Thornton, aged seven, of 44 Seven Oaks Drive, was hit at the intersection of Wairakei Road and Greers Road soon after 3 p.m. He is in a fairly comfortable condition in Christchurch Hospital.
