Relay on Port Hills
The Christchurch Harrier Club, the oldest established running club in Canterbury, took first, third and fourth placings in the big annual Port Hills inter-club open relay on Saturday.
The five-lap relay, organised by the United Harrier club, was run in ideal conditions and attracted a record entry of 400 runners from some 20 registered clubs in Canterbury. Results:—
