Bowls vacancy filled

The president of the Christchurch Bowling Centre, Mr A. G. Murray, hag been elected to the vacancy on the council of the New Zealand Bowling Association created by the death in May of Mr B. W. Sinclair. Mr Murray, who also succeeded Mr Sinclair as Christchurch president, was one of three nominations for the position, the other two being Mr D. J. Shuker and Mr A. Memory. When the election was held at this week's meeting of the Christchurch centre. Mr Murray received 77 votes. Mr Shuker 45, and Mr Memory 23. There will be a Christchurch vacancy again next year when
