Another win for Peake
NZPA Sydney The New Zealand jockey, David Peake, finibhed his short work ing holiday in Sydney on a winning note when he rode Digger’s Daughter to an easy win in the 1600 m Grafter Welter at Warwick Farm on Saturday. It was the third victory of the week in Sydney for Peake, who was given rides by “Bart” Cummings. Digger’s Daughter was well positioned throughout the race and came down the outside to the straight to win by two lengths and three-quarters from the New Zealand-bred Miss Crespht. Toryman was a head away, third.
