Left turn on red light
Sir, — Who is crossing with the lights? Mothers with slow-moving toddlers, mothers with prams, old folk, many with disabilities, and they comprise most pedestrians. We often have to jump now as so many drivers ignore our rights. We would have more narrow escapes if left turns on red lights were introduced. Or would we escape? — Yours, etc., (Mrs) H. LORKING. June 30, 1978.
