Hard to find wool
Sir, — I agree with the letter on wool (June 30). Why is 2-ply wool not available? Again I was really disturbed, when buying knitting needles last week, to find they were made in Germany. In a wool-growing country such as this, surely all types of wool should be readily available as well as any accessories required in such knitting. — Yours, etc., (Mrs) J. COOMBE. June 30, 1978.
