Manners at concerts
§irj •— Having attended Thursday’s New Zealand Symphony Orchestra concert. I came away thrilled to see so many attending who are obviously new concertgoers, but appalled by
the lack of manners which must have deeply upset the conductor, players, and other concertgoers. Perhaps music teachers and friends could explain that not only is it rude to walk in and out of a concert hall but it makes it impossible for anyone to concentrate. — Yours, etc., ROBINA WESTENRA.
