Moral viewpoint
Sir, — We would like to add a comment on recent discussions on moral viewpoints. Many areas of society are finding it necessary to raise and improve their standards. Some sports authorities and other organisations are suffering from those who would spoil their image, and have been forced to insi-': that public and professional standards are upheld. We can only commend them for this action. Drug, poison and smoking campaigns have to be mounted to save people from their own carelessness. No less in the area of morals. The law is set, however much some may resist. "What you sow you shall also reap.” Loose morals bring a harvest of despair, distress, and confusion. High moral standards bring fruit of security, reliability, and faithfulness. It is high time for a campaign to help people who pay lip service to moral standards to demonstrate them in their lives. It is so easy to let them slip. — Yours, etc., NEVILLE M. RUSH.
