N.Z. man in U.N. post
NZPA Geneva The United Nations European headquarters has announced the appointment of Mr Anthony Curnow, a New Zealander, as its new Director of Information.
Mr Curnow, aged 54, a former press relations officer for the New Zealand Government, the South-East Asia Treaty Organisation and the International Labour Organisation, has been information officer for the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe for the last five years.
