Rugby cup to Gloucester
NZPA-Reuter London Grinding forward power led Gloucester to a 6-3 win over Leicester in the English Rugby Union Cup final at Twickenham yesterday. Conditions were ideal for open rugby, but Gloucester’s policy of no risks and no frills made the match a disappointing spectacle for the record crowd of 25,000.
