Coming alive
Sir, — Many thanks for reprinting the very enjoyable article from “The Evening Post” on Murray Ball in “The Press” on Wednesday.
I, for one, do not feel alive until I have my daily dose of Wai and Dog. As a cartoonist and gentle satirist, Murray Ball is tops. Thanks also to Felicity Price for her well researched article on “Making Ends Meet” on Thursday. It justified my worst suspicions about food prices and budgeting generally. Another bonus in same paper was one of your headlines: “Glimmer of hope for cheese.” What a relief. What could be worse to live with than a hopeless cheese. — Yours, etc., (Mrs) JILL WILCOX.
