Inter-island ferry service
Sir, — It is frightening to hear Labour leaders, up and down the country, back to their election-year tricks of promises without the slightest idea of how they will finance them. The latest is .the promise of restoring the Wellington - to - Lyttelton ferry. Heaven help us if these unbusiness-like people get back into power. We must let Mr Muldoon continue his good work. He said three years would not be sufficient time to restore our shattered economy that the last Labour Government left us. — Yours, etc., R. M. NELSON. April 13, 1978.
