New rooms at school
The Minister of Education (Mr Gandar) will open a new science block at Rangi Ruru Girls’ School on May 2.
The opening o' the building, which includes four science laboratories and a team-teaching area which can double as a students’ common room, marks the completion of the second stage of the school’s present development plan.
The common room will be called the Douglas Dodds Common Room after a well known member of the Meri-vale-St Albans community, who has served for 21 years on the school’s board.
