Eclipse to race in the U.S.
Eclipse, Saucy Jack andi Mister Gregory, all members of the team trained by Dennis Nyhan, will do their future racing in the United States. They have been purchased by Michael Gagliardi, one of the leading trainer-drivers at Meadowlands, where he has some 35 horses in work. He also has another team of 40 racing at Freehold.
li Gagliardi has spent some : days in New Zealand and he ■ is at present in Australia seeking more horses. I As well, he has purchased Brushwood Commander, I Tufty Girl, Connoisseur, ’ Savoy and Beachport, and he ; is still negotiating for other i horses, including Nigel . Craig, through his Christ- ' church agent, Mr Kevin Ryder.
