New assn at Lincoln
A Lincoln and Districts Community Care Association was established at a public meeting at Lincoln. The meeting was attended by about 120 persons, said Mr G. A. Hay, of the Lincoln Rotary Club. The decision to form the association had been unanimous. “The aims of the association will be to ascertain the medical and ancillary needs of the community, to foster, encourage, and develop an involvement by groups and! individuals to meet those needs, and to perform any other related function,” said Mr Hay. A management committee of six elected members, one member of the Lincoln Rotary Club, and one member of the Lincoln Medical Centre, was set up.
