Morgan out of snooker

Taylor won the right to enter the last 16 and a meeting with the former Pot Black champion, Graham Miles, at Sheffield in two weeks time after beating Morgan, nine frames to seven. Morgan led, 3-2, midway through the first session but the Manchester cue-man captured three frames in succession to hit back and hold a 5-3 lead at the interval.
