Morgan out of snooker
NZPA London The Australian, Paddy Morgan, has bowed out of the world professional snooker championships to Manchester’s David Taylor at Stockport. Taylor won the right to enter the last 16 and a meeting with the former Pot Black champion, Graham Miles, at Sheffield in two weeks time after beating Morgan, nine frames to seven. Morgan led, 3-2, midway through the first session but the Manchester cue-man captured three frames in succession to hit back and hold a 5-3 lead at the interval.
