Control of credit
Sir, — Tony Kunowski wrongly states that Social Credit emphasises “State control of the money supply
(which already exists).’’ Social Credit calls for community control of the money supply for the advantage of the nation. At present the State controls merely the level of the money supply, it leaves the mechanisms of control (within the allowable limits) to the privatelyowned financial institutions and their subsidiaries, for the financial gain of the fortunate few.—Yours, etc., RICHARD JONES. March 4, 1978.
