Aids for drug users
Sir,—l recently listened to a speaker on the subject: “Youth and Hard Drugs” and came to realise that the problem has reached alarming proportions. What appalled me most, however was the display of drug-oriented literature, jewellery and aids for drug-users which are available on the open market and being sold by wellknown firms. Many of these items are even sales-taxed by the Government! When will there be a ban on the manufacture and sale of such items in keeping with the law on drug use, or is it “Free enterprise no matter what?” —Yours, etc., C. R. BLACKETT. March 2, 1978.
