Jan. building slips
The number of permits for new dwellings issued in January this year was 37.7 per cent down on that issued in January last year. The latest figure is 946, compared with 1518 in Januar. 1977, according to figures released yesterday by the Statistics Department. It brings the total of permits for the year ending January to 23,175: 25 per cent down from the previous year. The monthly totals in the! latest year have all been| down on the corresponding'
