Sailors’ tempers flare
FA Wellington, | Yachtsmen in the national j catamaran championships spent' five hours — from 9 a.m. until} [2 p.m. — in their boats waiting for a breeze to spring on the Wellington Harbour yesterdav. When the one race for the day began yesterday afternoon it was obvious the hours of waiting had taken their toll on the yachtsmen’s patience. Three protests were lodged over incidents at the start. Gerald Sly, in Top Cat, the race s eventual winner, also protested against Tanzara Tunnel for a similar breach. The other incident involved an ex-Navy launch and the racing committee boat. which sank
