Two new players, from those of the last few years, have been included in the two Christchurch teams for the South Island final of the Rothmans inter-centre bowls tournament to be played, at Blenheim on February 4 ana 5. They are Bill Newburgh (Elmwood i. who won the open singles last summer, and Merv Robinson Barrington i. who earned his selection with his third placing iin the pairs al the national tour- , nament, which ended yesterday. Newburgh has, predictably, been named as one of the singles olayers and Robinson win pla\ third in one of the fours. The teams are: Singles, W. R. Wilkinson (Beckenham;: pairs.
