Dunedin’s Y.W.C.A. centenary
Sir, — The Y.W.C.A. of Dunedin will be 100 years old in 1978 and will be celebrating this occasion during the week-end of May 12, 13 and 14. Any past members in other parts of New Zealand or elsewhere who would like either to enrol err to have further information are asked to write to the Centennial Committee. Dunedin was the first Y.W.C.A. to be established in the Southern Hemisphere and 1 , to mark this occasion, Dr Nita Barrow, the world president, plans to come to New Zealand. The world general secretary elect, Miss Erica Brodie, who began her Y.W.C.A. training in Dunedin, hopes to be in Dunedin for that weekend. -— Yours, etc., JEAN E. BALLARD.
