No tennis upsets
An absence of upsets marked the first day of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association’s Show week-end tournament at Wilding Park yesterday.
The early part of the afternoon was taken up by roundrobin matches for pools of three and the winners of each then went into a two-life competition while the others are now involved In a knock-out competition.
