Will he read it?

PA Wellington The Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) will take a leather-bound copy of his new book “Muldoon” to give to President Carter when he meets him at the White House next month. “I don’t imagine he’ll read it,” Mr Muldoon commented at a news conference yesterday.

The idea was his publishers’, he said. “Muldoon” will be launched at a function given by the publishers. A.-

H. and A. W. Reed, in Parliament House on Thurs« day. But it will not go on sale until next Monday and reviews will not appear until then.

Copies will be on display — but not on sale — at the “launching” which is being held this week because Mr Muldoon will fly to the United States next week. Several newspapers have begun publishing excerpts from the book this week.
