Escaper in Chch flat
The police recaptured anj Australian prison escaper' when they surrounded al Christchurch flat about 9.30 last evening. Noel lan Parsell, aged 24, escaped from Paparua Prison' on August 19. when he walked away from a work! party on the prison farm. The) police received a tip-off that' he was staying at a Christ-) church flat, and he was taken 1 without a struggle. He will appear in the Magistrate’s Court todav on a[ charge of escaping. A young; woman will be charged with; harbouring Parsell, and other! persons may be charged. Parsell was serving a six-! month term for burglary. 1
