Banabans still thinking
NZPA Suva Leaders of the Banaban people from Ocean Island will continue meeting in Suva today to consider an offer of more than SNZIOM, afte. failing to reach a decision yesterday. The offer has been made on behalf of Britain, Australia, and New Zealand, in an attempt to settle a dispute over the Banabans’ claim for damages as a result of phosphate mining on their native Ocean Island.
