Head injury in collision
A woman is in a serious condition in the Christchurch Hospital after a motor collision in Colombo Street south at 12.30 p.m. on Friday. She is Helen Penfold, of 229 Ham Road, Christchurch, who suffered head injuries. A spokesman for the Ministry of Transport said that she was in a collision between a car and a van outside 51 Colombo Street.
