Royal tour
The Queen and the Duke fly from Hawke’s Bay to New Plymouth in the morning. The Queen attends a civic luncheon there while the Duke visits the Kapuni gas works.
Both fly to Gisborne in the mid-afternoon with a brief stopover in Taupo. There is a reception on board Britannia in the early evening.
