Today Cycle for economy day. 7.30 p.m. Slide show on cycling throughout the world, in the upstairs common room, Arts Centre, on the corner of Hereford and Montreal Streets.
Vintage bicycles on display all day in the Christchurch Town Hall.
Friday, February 25 Cycle for environment day. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Displays and competitions in Cathedral Square. The police will display stolen and unclaimed bicycles and officers of the Ministry of Transport will give safety demonstrations.
