Royal tour today
This morning the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh fly to Tauranga, where they spend a short time before flying to Rotorua to attend a civic luncheon and plant a commemorative tree at the Lakefront Reserve.
They fly to Hawke’s Bay in the afternoon and attend a come-alive carnival in Hastings in the early evening. They spend the night on the Royal Yacht Britannia at Napier.
