Chertsey School centenary
Sir, — It is intended to celebrate the centenary of the Chertsev Primary School during 1978. A committee has been formed and all interested ex-pupils, teachers and committee members, are requested to get in touch with the Secretary, Mr Arthur Wilkinson. “Bigham”. No. 2 R.D.. Ashburton, for further information. A special plea is made for articles, school, and family photographs, as well as any of local interest for inclusion in a magazine, which is now in the formative stages. — Yours, etc., R. L.
