Schulz probe continues
The Christchurch City Council’s policy and finance committee will meet in closed session again today to look further at property transactions of the council’s Housing and Property Director (Mr R. A. Schulz). Mr Schulz supplied the committee with a list of private deals under his own name on Monday afternoon, and councillors did not have time that day
to make detailed checks on whether those had involved areas “sensitive” to council business. ' It is understood that about 10 further properties, not under the name of Cherrydale Developments, Ltd, are being investigated in an attempt to wind up the matter. A report on the committee’s findings will be made to the full council meeting on Monday evening.
