Three other persons required hospital treatment after a gang of about 15 youths — some of them wielding bottles and sticks gate-crashed a private party at 88 Fldckton Street.
Those hurt were the owners of the house, Brian O’Donoghue, aged 42, his wife, Marie, aged 37, and Danny Wells, aged about 16.
The youths arrived at the house about li p.m. on Friday, and went on the rampage when they were refused admission to the private party. Three days of intensive investigation have brought the police no closer to arresting any of the gatecrashers.
