But no bill had been con- ■ sidered by either the Cabinet ■ or the Caucus although a! draft had been examined bv a j Cabinet committee. The bill would amend the• Hospitals .Amendment Act of: last year in order to "holdl the line” on abortion, accord- j ing to the Minister of Health ' (Mr Gill). Mr Taiboys said that the Cabinet would consider the! recommendation of thei National Party conference | against the introduction of legislation before the com-1 mission’s report had been ■ received The commission’' report is: expected to be made some time next Decemb*-.
