Young girl drowns
A two-year-old girl drowned after she fell into the Heathcote River at Woolston on Sunday. She was Shelley Anne Richards, of Flat 1,92 a Randolph Street, Linwood. She had wandered from a house in Connal Street, Woolston, about mid-day on Sunday, the police said.
