Hijacker shot by F.B.I.
<K.Z P A Reuter—Copyright > DENVER (Colorado) April 19. A hijacker holding two hostages was shot dead today after transferring to a jet aircraft which was to fly him to Mexico. Roger aged 30. of Marquette, Nebraska, was shot by an agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The hostages were not injured. The shooting occurred on a Convair aircraft prepared for the flight to Mexico. Lentz had transferred to the aircraft with the hostages after flying to Denver in a light aircraft, a Piper Apache, which he seized yesterday while it was taxi-ing to a hangar at Grand Island, Nebraska, about 300 miles away . The police said the man had argued with his wife.
