Chch man in Values post

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 19. Two former Labour Party members have been elected to senior positions in the Values Party. Mrs Margaret Crozier, of Whangarei, has become deputy leader of the party, and Mr J. A. Stewart, of Christchurch, fills the newly created position of party organiser. Both have been members of the Labour Party, and Mr Stewart was, many years ago, a member of the National Party. Mrs Crozier is a 29-year-old mother, married to a medical practitioner. She holds the degree of master of arts with honours degree in history and was formerly a secondary school teacher.' She replaced Miss Cathy Wilson, who did not seek reelection. Mrs Crozier was elected on the first ballot ahead of three other contenders, in-

eluding Mr Peter Heal, of Christchurch. Mr Stewart is a 45-year-old family man who has had considerable political experience. Before joining the Values Party in October, 1972, he had held various posts in the Labour Party, including that of inter-branch chairman and electorate delegate to the Christchurch Labour Representation Committee.
