Dog nuisance
Sir, — We seem always to hear of the S.P.C.A. and its problems with untrained humans acting uncivilly towards our doggy friends. My feelings, however, are more on the side of the average householder without a dog who has *o put up with untrained dog-owners. Is my predict 'nt typical of other house owners? I am regularly visited by dogs who leave their calling card on my property. Some of these dogs are technically strays since they are roaming free. The others are on a lead being given their exercise for the day by their owners. What is most irritating is that these owners are happy to see their dog leave a mess on someone else’s property. I suggest we start a collection and delivery service to ensure that the messes are delivered to the properties from which the dog and the untrained owner come. — Yours, etc., D. W. MacGREGOR.
