Fabian gave a grand display of trotting to win the Two-year-old Trotting Stake, for his Highbank owner Mis W. M. Middleton, whose husband, Gordon, owns and trains the gelding Fabian set al! of the pace and held out Pointer Hanover by half a head Ripper s Image finished third, a nose in front of Premature.
