Fly Fly Solly, driven by Joe Nerd, beat the classiest field of pacers in harness racing to win Saturday night’s featured $35,000 Rum Customer Pace at Yonkers Raceway. The Associated Press reported that Fly Fly Solly beat Handle (With Care by a neck, with Shirley's Beau third. The 8-5 favour- - ite. Young Quinn, was sixth in a field of seven. | The winners’ time was 1:59.8 I— the first sub two-minute mile iat Yonkers this meeting. It was Fly Fly Solly’s eighth victory in 14 starts and Nero described the win as his “biggest thrill."
