University sport led by Otago

(N.Z. Pres* Atsociatton) DUNEDIN. Four events have been completed in the New Zealand universities Easter tournament, which is being held in Dunedin. Otago University has taken the honours in three of those events. Its most convincing win was in the swimming, which it won with 102 points — 72 points ahead of the second place getter, Massey. Otago also won the rowing and snooker events. Canterbury took first place in the shooting, followed by Massey, Otago and Lincoln. With only one more day to play in the tennis, Auckland is leading with 19 points, and Victoria University is in second place with 14 points. The cricket is expected to be won by Victoria University which has two Wellington representative cricket players in its team.
